One of our most notable projects was the extension development we completed in Balham, London. The brief was to turn a tired Victorian ground floor flat into a modern and spacious home perfect for entertaining friends in the city.
After the initial site visit, we surveyed the flat and drew up the plans, re-working the whole layout of the flat, so each room was a better proportion, and the overall circulation was improved.
We added an additional light-filled extension, making full use of the side return, adding much needed square footage and creating a large kitchen, living and dining area which became the hub of the apartment. We wanted to create some unique outlooks through the flat, all focusing on the natural features in the courtyard garden at the back. We designed bespoke angled steel windows and doors which contrasted perfectly with the existing period features of the property.
